The founders of I.D.E.A.L. Woman adopted a list of standards for our members to uphold in order to keep the integrity of I.D.E.A.L. Woman. Since we are a leadership organization, our primary focus is to prepare our members for upper level leadership roles on campus and in the corporate world. Our standards are as follows: 

 

1.) Respectful of Time- Members are required to be on time for all events and meetings. Members will have twenty four hours before the day before our meeting or event to let one of the executive board members know that they will be later or will not be able to attend.

 

2.) Appropiate Attire- There will be no low cut shirts, tight blouses, pants or skirts at our meetings.  Business professional or business casual attire is required unless members are told otherwise.

 

3.) Lady-like Conduct- Members will be expected to refrain from using profane language in public, displaying inappropiate content on social networks, dressing inappropiately on and off campus, and being overly affectionate of significant others in public.

 

4.) Academics- Members will be expected to maintain a good GPA, and if a member is on academic probation, we encourage them to seek assistance from the executive board so that we can advise members as to where they may receive academic help.

 

5.) Community Service- Members will be expected to participate in community service opportunities throughout the semester. Servant leadership is an important aspect of this program and will benefit members as well as those that they assist.
